The Vocational Education Centre

The Vocational Education Centre (VEC) is part of Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and we provide a range of quality programmes.   We have been providing vocational education within our Trust for 3 years and now provide services in clinical and non-clinical areas.  Our qualifications are designed to provide people with the skills to work in a modern and progressive healthcare environment in line with both organisational and job role redesign. However, we don’t just provide healthcare qualifications.

About The Centre

The VQ Centre offers a range of qualifications to support your development needs from Awards and Certificates right up to Diplomas. If you think we are just healthcare think again, we provide a wide variety of qualification across a number of subjects. We can provide qualification for both personal and professional development in both the private and public sector.

Working in Partnership

Our awarding body is City and Guilds one of the leading and most respected awarding bodies in the country and we are currently working with Moulton College and ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) to look at forming a partnership to extend our repertoire of qualification to include management and to gain accreditation for some of our in-house training.
