Sexual Health Services - Young People's Community Drop-ins

Young people are welcome to use all of our sexual health services. However, the services listed here are specifically designed for young people to provide easier access as they are provided in locations within the communities where people live.

 

 

When you attend a Young People's Community Drop-In you will see either a Young Person's Support Worker or a Nurse or sometimes both. Our Young People's Support Workers have expertise in contraception and advising on issues related to your sexual health and will refer you to a trained nurse as appropriate.

 

All of our clinics provide: -

• chlamydia screening
• pregnancy testing
• condoms
• advice
• and arrangements can be made for you to be able to access emergency hormonal contraception, the contraceptive pill and other contraception at these clinics if required.

 

All of our clinics are designed for you to attend without an appointment or a referral from your G.P. However, we do advise you to phone us first to confirm the session times. Providing you arrive at the clinic during the advertised times you will be seen by a Young Person's Support Worker or a Nurse.

• Student Drop-In also held at Northampton College, Tresham College and EYS
