Young people are welcome to use all of our sexual health services. However, the services listed here are specifically designed for young people to provide easier access as they are provided in locations within the communities where people live.
When you attend a Young People's Community Drop-In you will see either a Young Person's Support Worker or a Nurse or sometimes both. Our Young People's Support Workers have expertise in contraception and advising on issues related to your sexual health and will refer you to a trained nurse as appropriate.

All of our clinics are designed for you to attend without an appointment or a referral from your G.P. However, we do advise you to phone us first to confirm the session times. Providing you arrive at the clinic during the advertised times you will be seen by a Young Person's Support Worker or a Nurse.

NHFT is joining forces with Solar, Northamptonshire County Council and other local organisations, to promote both HIV Testing Week (22-29th November 2013) and World AIDS Day, which takes place on 1st December 2013.
A range of activities and events are taking place throughout the week and NHFT will be offering same-day HIV testing at our sites at the Ashwood Centre at St Mary's Hospital, Kettering, and the Summers Unit at Northampton General Hospital. For more information go to www.nhft.nhs.uk/hiv
